La Primavera farm, situated in Acevedo, Huila, boasts an elevation of 1433 masl. Covering an area of 3 hectares, the farm is home to approximately 15,000 trees of Castillo Tambo and Papayo varieties.
Ruben Correa, a third-generation coffee farmer, manages the farm together with his brother. He bought the farm approximately three decades ago.
Cuatro Vientos is a family-run coffee company that offers microlots and regional blends. It was founded in 2018 and named after the Gonzalez family’s first farm, making the name especially meaningful to them.
Yonatan Gonzalez, the General Manager, grew up on that original farm. He’s a third-generation coffee producer with a background in logistics. His father was a traditional Colombian parchment coffee buyer.
The company works in several areas of Huila, which allows them to source coffee for six months each year. They have three buying stations, located in Acevedo, Santa Maria, and Algeciras. While they don’t have their own drying mill, they use facilities based in Acevedo.
