Located under the same roof as The Little Pickle

I first met Sandra, the founder of The Little Pickle, back in 2017. At the time, we were working under the same holding company, but we didn’t really get to know each other.

When I decided to leave that company and started thinking about opening my own roastery, she reached out and offered me a space at The Little Pickle. Without her support, Hibi Kaffe might not exist today.

 

As you may know, there aren’t many women entrepreneurs in the restaurant or coffee industry. I truly admire Sandra’s creativity and passion, and I hope my geeky love for coffee brings something special to the table. We both believe in building something meaningful and hopefully making our neighborhood a little happier.

The Little Pickle opened its bakery in January 2025. You can now enjoy delicious sourdough goods made by the talented bakers Tsukasa and Nozomi. They also serve Hibi Kaffe, brewed with care by Haruna, who used to work with me at the roastery and is now managing the bakery.

 

I feel so lucky to work alongside this amazing team. This space brings me so much joy, and I hope you feel the same when you visit.
